Corporate & Individual Partners

The work of United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador is a collaborative effort of individual donors, volunteers, business and community leaders, organized labour, and service organizations. By bringing key community stakeholders together around common issues, we strengthen our ability to get to the heart of community matters, and find solutions that best utilize all available resources.

The campaign management team is the driving force behind our annual campaign. These business, community and labour leaders encourage their peers to participate in the United Way campaign. The campaign management team’s effort ultimately involves hundreds of volunteers and reaches into workplaces large and small across the province.

On April 4, 2008 United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador and the St. John’s and District Labour Council formalized their partnership and signed an agreement of principle committing both organizations to working together to improve the quality of life for all who live and work in our province.

And, of course, the positive results we are achieving would not be possible without the generosity of the individual and corporate donors who support United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador. Because of their generosity, donations received and contributions given to the community have increased every year.

We espcially thank our 2009 campaign Leadership donors who, by donating over $1000.00 last year, demonstration great generosity and a sincere care for the well-being of our community.
