Community Fund
We support charities in Newfoundland and Labrador through our Community Fund. This is the core of who we are as an organization and how we make measurable impact and change to the lives of those living in our province. When workplaces and donors choose to support the United Way community fund, we are able to invest those dollars in programs, services and initiative fall within the three key focus areas United Way supports: All that Kids can Be; Poverty to Possibility; and Strong Communities. Charities in Newfoundland and Labrador can apply for funding of a specific program or project through our Community fund grant process. We announce our call for proposals once per year in February, and we invite all eligible organizations to apply for funding. Our next round of funding applications will commence early February 2021.
