As you are aware, in both the Northwest Territories and British Columbia, wildfires are continuing to cause significant damage, disruption, and heartbreak for residents.
Over 20,000 people have been evacuated from Yellowknife, most seeking shelter in Alberta. In BC, the government declared a state of emergency as across the province, 30,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate.

Our United Way 211 partners are continuously updating their databases with the most current information on resources.
Please consider donating to United Way Northwest Territories or United Way British Columbia, who both have wildfire appeals.
